The Advanced Semantic Workshop was held in Quantum Beez from 16 - 20 Nov 09.

The Sudanese delegation, led by Dr Mustafa Nawari, visited QB from 7 – 12 November 2009. An MoU was signed between QB and the Nile Center of Technology Research (NCTR).

Skali, a premier e-business specialist, has awarded a contract to QB to develop and install a DMS for their entire organizational needs. This 6-month exercise will involve the deployment of open source solutions over hundreds of desktops company-wide.

QB has been awarded a contract to supply a high-performance computing (HPC) system to enhance R&D activities at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)’s Centre for Biological Sciences. QB has also provided services to the Kulliyyah of Science (KoS), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuantan Campus, to set up 10 hpc clusters, each cluster at 4 CPU Dual Core running on Linux Cluster ROCKS Distro 5.2. The IIUM hpc clusters will be used to teach students Message Parallel Interface (MPI) programming techniques.

QB is honoured to organize the 3-day GlobinMed Database Update Training which was held on the 27^th-29^th April 2009. Quantum Beez (QB) Wins Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) High Performance Computer (HPC) Tender.

UTP has awarded QB a letter of award to supply a 1-Teraflop 128-core symmetric multiprocessor machine (SMP) HPC system. The scope of supply also includes a 24 Terabyte storage system, all of which will be delivered, installed and commissioned over a 10-week period.

Quantum Beez - SGI Workshop on MEDIAFLUX^TMDigital Asset Management System.

Quantum Beez and SGI (Malaysia) jointly organized a one- day workshop on an exciting, new and industry leading digital asset management system, MEDIAFLUX^TM. QB secures Software Engineering Services Contract

The Malaysian Institute of Microelectronics Systems (MIMOS) under The Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation has engaged Quantum Beez to provide certain software engineering services for a contract period of 16 months. The software development includes semantic technology- based applications.
