The Sudanese delegation, led by Dr Mustafa Nawari, visited QB from 7 – 12 November 2009. An MoU was signed between QB and the Nile Center of Technology Research (NCTR) based in Khartoum. The two parties agreed to explore technology co-operation in the field of High Performance Computing (HPC) and related Applications encompassing but not limited to numerical weather modeling, bioinformatics and computational biology, semantic technology, training and certification services, digital security and encryption.
