As a culmination of the successful installation of the Virtual Reality systems in Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL), Open Source Systems (OSS) organized a half-day VR seminar entitled "Immersive Virtual Reality & High End Visualization". It was held on August 14, 2004 at the Regent Hotel, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. The attendance to this event was very encouraging as more than 30 professionals from various universities, research agencies and companies turned out to find out what Virtual Reality really is and how it can be used in various industries.

The Aldrich Group Dialogue Session was once again held this month, with announcements being made revealing several changes in the company, followed by the customary talk by Dr Azman. This time round, Dr Azman treated us to a slide show, which gave us glimpse of his experiences, his family, and past acquaintances. As usual, Dr Azman captivated us with colourful elaborations, while interleaving in advice and providing knowledge so seamlessly that while engrossed in his talk, we didn't realise it was also a lecture.
