QB Wins High-Performance Computing (HPC) Contract at USM

The USM School of Biological Sciences and the university's Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB) have awarded Quantum Beez a contract to supply and install an HPC system comprising an SGI Altix 450 (32 cores Intel Itanium, 96GB RAM) and 19.2 TB Storage.

QB has been awarded with a “BioCluster for Application Intensive and Stereographic Visualization System for Centre of Research for Computational Sciences & Informatics for Biology (Crystal), Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya” project (UM – website :www.um.edu.my).
